Beginning with your first phone call to our office, you will be treated with courtesy and compassion. During this phone call we will ask you questions to determine the type of appointment you will need. We will gather contact and insurance information. We will mail you a new patient packet with important paperwork, a brochure, and directions to our office. We ask that you bring this packet with you to your first appointment. For your convenience, you can download and print your new patient forms from this website in the patient forms webpage.

Upon your arrival, Theresa, our Practice Administrator, will greet you and collect your paperwork. Then one of our dental assistants, Blaire, Michelle, or Lee, will escort you to our clinical area. Depending on your specific needs, we will update X-rays and take digital photographs of your teeth. Dr. Brown or Dr. Amos will review your medical history and dental X-rays. Then Dr. Brown or Dr. Amos will perform a comprehensive exam including your jaw joint (TMJ), your teeth, your bite, and your gums. In addition, we will perform an oral cancer screening for you.

After collecting your information, we will work with you to develop a plan of comprehensive dental care that will preserve your teeth for comfort, function, health, and esthetics. You can expect to be in our office for approximately one and a half hours for your initial visit. Following your initial visit we will guide you to your next step in your dental care.
