Dr. Tanya Brown graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology
(Georgia Tech), receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree. She then
graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry,
receiving a Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
Dr. Brown is one of a select group of dentists (1% nationally)
who have completed the core curriculum at the prestigious Dawson
Academy of Advanced Dentistry in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is
a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American
Dental Association, and the Virginia Dental Association.
Among numerous continuing education and hands-on training programs,
Dr. Brown has studied and mastered the areas of cosmetic dentistry,
smile design, comprehensive restorative dentistry, implant dentistry,
occlusion, and TMJ disorders. In addition, she continues to pursue
over 100 hours of continuing education annually, honing her skills
and developing new techniques that will better serve her patients.
Dr. Brown is a member of the Rotary Club of Great Bridge, Executive
Women International, and serves on the board of the Great Bridge/Hickory
YMCA. In addition, as part of her service to the community, she
educates school children annually during Dental Health Month. Dr.
Brown attends Spring Branch Community Church and lives in Great
Bridge with her husband, Richard.
